Comfort birds are hand carved wooden birds that fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. They are meant to be held during times of stress or given to a friend or loved one who is experiencing a stressful time in their life. Comfort birds are extremely smooth and provide a way for the holder to pray, self-soothe, and/or practice deep breathing.
The shape of the bird is perfect for holding in your hand, and the curves allow for slow and deliberate meditative moments. The beak of the bird is also a wonderful tool for self-acupressure and/or for meeting fidgeting and sensory needs.
Each bird is approximately 2.5" long and 1.5" wide. Birds are made out of solid rainbow poplar wood, and special wood species requests are welcome.
